Account
Signing up, logging in, profile, and account management.
Click 'Get started' at the top of the page, enter your email and a password, or sign up instantly with Google. No credit card is needed for the free plan.
Yes. The Free plan includes 1 chatbot, 50 AI messages per month, and a 25-page domain crawl. You can upgrade at any time.
On the sign in page, click 'Forgot password'. We'll email you a secure link to set a new one.
Yes, head to Account settings and update your email. You'll need to verify the new address before the change takes effect.
Go to Account settings and use 'Delete account'. This permanently removes your bots, conversations, leads, and personal data.
Team members and seat-based collaboration are available on the Business plan. Contact sales for details.
SSO (SAML) is available for Business customers. Reach out to info@bopyai.com to enable it for your workspace.
Setup & Installation
Getting your bot live on your website.
Copy the snippet from the Install tab on your bot and paste it before the </body> tag of your site. The widget loads asynchronously and won't slow your pages down.
Yes. Any platform that lets you paste a custom HTML/JS snippet works — including WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Squarespace, and custom builds.
No. The widget renders inside a Shadow DOM, so its CSS is fully isolated from your site.
Yes. You can hide or show the bot on specific pages, set the launcher position, and configure proactive behavior in the Behavior tab.
Every bot has a Live Test tab where you can chat with it exactly as your visitors will, without installing the snippet.
Most users go live in under 5 minutes — sign up, paste your domain to crawl, drop in the snippet, done.
Training & Knowledge
Teaching your bot about your business.
Add knowledge in three ways: crawl your website automatically, upload documents (PDF, DOCX, TXT), or paste FAQs and Q&A pairs directly.
You can trigger a re-crawl at any time from the Knowledge tab. Paid plans support scheduled automatic re-crawls.
Yes. In the Persona tab, set a name, avatar, tone (friendly, formal, playful), opening greeting, and fallback messages.
PDF, DOCX, TXT, and Markdown files are supported. Plain text and structured FAQs give the best answers.
Free: 25 pages. Starter: 150. Pro: 300. Business: unlimited. You can prioritize specific URLs in the Knowledge tab.
Yes. Use exclude patterns in the Knowledge tab, or block them in your robots.txt.

All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Business customers can pay by invoice.
Yes. Changes take effect immediately and your next invoice is prorated.
We'll notify you before you hit the cap. You can upgrade to a higher plan, or the bot will pause replies until the next billing cycle.
We offer a 14-day refund on first-time paid subscriptions. Contact info@bopyai.com to request one.
Yes, cancel from the Billing tab. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
Yes — save 20% when you pay yearly on Starter and Pro plans.
Messages & Conversations
How AI messages are counted and managed.
Every reply the bot generates counts as one AI message. Visitor messages and system messages do not count.
The Inbox tab shows every conversation across all your bots, with full search and filtering.
Yes. From the Inbox, you can jump in, pause the AI, and reply directly to the visitor.
Conversations are retained for the lifetime of your account. You can delete individual conversations or set retention rules in your workspace settings.
Lead Capture
Collecting emails, phone numbers, and qualified leads.
Yes. Configure lead-capture rules in the Leads tab — choose when to ask, what fields to collect, and where to send them.
All leads are stored in the Leads tab. You can also forward them via email, webhook, or to integrations like Mailchimp and HubSpot.

Yes. We process data in line with GDPR and offer a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) on request.
Data is stored on secure, encrypted infrastructure with EU and US data centers. Business customers can request region-specific hosting.
No. Your knowledge base and conversations are never used to train third-party AI models.
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).
Yes. You can delete individual conversations and leads, or trigger a full deletion request from the Account tab.

Yes. In the Behavior tab, set cooldown windows, page-specific rules, and global limits like '1 message per session per X seconds'.

Troubleshooting
Fixes for the most common issues.
Check: (1) the snippet is pasted before </body>, (2) your data-bot-id is correct, (3) the bot isn't hidden by a page-specific rule, (4) your browser isn't blocking third-party scripts.
Open the Knowledge tab and verify the source content. Add corrected FAQs, re-crawl your site, or tighten the bot's tone and instructions in the Persona tab.
Make sure you're viewing the right bot and that no filters are applied. New messages appear in real time — try refreshing or check your network connection.
Review your Behavior settings — disable overly eager proactive nudges, or upgrade to a higher plan.
